Victor Glass
Vic began shooting during college, 1966-1970. He learned to develop and print as a photographer at the Targum, Rutgers University's daily newspaper. For the past nine years Vic has exclusively used digital cameras. He is well versed in the digital workflow, digital asset management, and the use of ink jet printers to create exhibition quality prints.
Vic's background is unique. He obtained a B.A in mathematics from Rutgers College in 1970 and promptly became a social worker at the NJ Bureau of Children's Service (now the Division Of Youth and Family Services). He worked with children and their families in the areas of day care, adoption, child abuse and neglect, residential placement, and
foster care. After obtaining a Masters in Social Work at Rutgers Graduate School Of Social Work in 1977 he trained social workers until 1982.
In 1982 Vic changed careers and worked as a software developer. He provided services to a variety of companies including AT&T Bell Laboratory, Hunter Douglas Window Fashions, Merrill Lynch, Prudential, the Wall Street Journal, the AT&T Center For
Systems Education, Ortho Diagnostic Systems, Kanematsu Gosho, and Verizon Wireless.
In 2001, tired of sitting in a cubicle and looking at computer screen all day long, Vic began working a professional photographer.
